Shellie Marcus is one half of the team that restores many of the old historic wagons from our past. She and Loren run Marcus Wagon Works in Fallon, Nevada. And an average day could see them working on an old stagecoach, farm wagon, rebuilding old wooden wheels or painting a fancy carriage. They are willing to tackle any challenge and have worked around horses and mules all their lives.

Both are from California but they recently relocated the operation to Nevada, and stay busy rebuilding wagons and old wooden wheels from all over the west.. And they frequently take their wagons and draft horses out on the trail. We first met the pair on a wagon train near Lassen National Park in Northern, California which you can see in our video The Lassen Trail.
