Lee Stetson is a professional actor, writer and John Muir scholar and for forty years has literally brought John Muir back to life for hundreds of thousands who come to Yosemite and have a hunger to learn more about the man born in Scotland, who had such a profound impact on preserving America.
Muir was one of the most famous naturalists and conservationists in America. Though he died in 1914 — when you see and hear Stetson — with the long beard, the old world accent, and magnificent story telling skills, you will become spellbound and really feel Muir is still alive — and walking under the waterfalls and through these mountains.

I watched a program tonight with Huell Houser on PBS Channel talking with Lee Stetson in Yosemite, as if Lee was actually John Muir! It was mesmerizing and Jaw dropping as I was brought back to the 1800’s with John Muir discovering Yosemite! Unforgettable journey that I will always remember!
